While we visited there was a group basically doing an impromptu dance performance, leaving imprints of their poses behind. Don't miss the second part of the exhibit where you can learn about the history of surveillance and also search for your face in the surveillance images taken.

Well artist Carsten Holler is back, this time at the Gagosian Gallery in Chelsea with more theme-park-esque pieces.
The exhibit includes a giant cube that kids are encouraged to climb through, mirrored revolving doors to push, a giant mushroom carousel to turn, and hyper-real little fishes.
Misting water elements even offer a little relief from the heat. Check out our video, which describes it better than we ever could with words. Right inside the lobby are two pieces by Jillian Mayer that will really surprise kids. The first is a colorful sculpture that kids are allowed to climb on. Zigelbaum makes the digital world of screens and pixels a tangible object by using human touch to activate electric cubes.
Ann Hamilton transformed the Park Avenue Armory into a multi-sensorial experience that touched on notions of time and connection. Each part of the installation was connected. Participants swung pleasantly on large wooden swings, which activated a breezy curtain that others laid under for a meditative experience.
The artwork is rendered in real time and is never the same. Playing with the natural and cultural elements of the beach, multi-disciplinary studio Snarkitecture created an extra large ball pit meant for both children and adult. Want more Art x Community? The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
