Recently I signed up for voip. Now that I have the voip. Also, is there a way to change what my Google Voice line displays as on caller ID so that the person on the other end sees a name or another number? Do you have a verified Google voice number? I'm not sure that you can have another number displayed.
I used obitalk to set up VoIP. Once everything was set up, I disabled auto provisioning. I thought there was a way in the Obi to change what is displayed on the caller ID, but I couldn't find it. Red Letherman wrote: If you want to get a Google voice number, you need to verify a forwarding phone.
